We look forward to meeting you.The RoleThis benchmark is intended to be used by companies that have generic classifications engaged in research and/or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical.Must HaveBachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.Nice to HaveThis position is to lead the E33 FORD Class coatings team. Experience with aircraft carrier design/construction is desired as well as the ability to work with a variety of management, external customers, suppliers, the production trades, and the inspection department. Familiarity with associated procedures, standards, build process, planning and trade organizations is required.
