Mid-sized, privately held local company is seeking a qualified individual to fill a high visibility professional role of Staff Account / Accounting Supervisor with rapid advancement potential. This position will be responsible for the accuracy of the daily / weekly administrative accounting functions and books to include invoicing sales, credit memos, and customer discounts, accounts receivable, inventory and tracking Work in Progress. In addition, this position is responsible for general record keeping, as well as other general office functions and organizational duties as assigned. Successful candidate will have a resume demonstrating progressive increase in responsibilities and continuing professional development. Ability to handle multiple priorities, attention to detail and good understanding of General Ledger Accounting practices and Sage knowledge a must. An accounting degree a plus.
