Immediate openings for Part time Area Managers needed for Janitorial company in Virginia Beach/ Norfolk/Suffolk/ Newport News area , 25 hours per week (Night time hours 5:30 to 10:30 Daytime hours Flexible). Duties include but not limited to: Managing supervisors ensuring the Scope of Work is implemented and executed to the required specification of the contract, using correct cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment as directed per cleaning contract. Allocation of work to cleaning staff and ensuring that the work is completed to a satisfactory standard. Ensuring safe working conditions - using correct warning signs, protective and safety equipment, being mindful of hazards to other. The Area Manager will complete cleaning inspections of assigned buildings , may contact tenants to follow up on complaints or ensure cleaning requirements are being met, dropping off or pick up supplies, orientations of new employees to buildings, train new staff, complete and/or schedule interviews of potential candidates . The Area Manager must be able to communicate written and verbal instructions to the team , be flexible, practical, organized, and personable. This person(s) must be observant and have the ability to prioritize tasks for the betterment of the company. MUST have at least 3 years cleaning supervisory experience Lastly, He/She must be able to type minimum 25 wpm, should be motivated, have reliable transportation and work with little supervision.
