Experienced Floor Manager / FOH Manager

We are re-introducing a Southern Comfort Restaurant with a fresh vibe, warm atmosphere, and AMAZING food lol. We would like a highly qualified candidate to manage the restaurant and banquet hall. The successful candidate will have experience managing restaurants, hiring + firing staff, all day-to-day operations and management of the main restaurant and lounge. This position works in conjunction with the Executive chef and both report directly to the owner.

Role & Responsibilities

Guest Relations

Manage front of house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision

Managing the shifts and handling issues that arise in a professional manner

Responsible for correct operation of the POS systems & reports

Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout

Assist with catering function management

Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines

Hold Associates accountable to deliver consistent quality service in all outlets and in room dining in order to meet business plan commitments.

Do Walk-Thru's with Leaders (ensure restroom, dining room, front line, parking lot cleanliness, ensure all team members are in proper uniform, play-land, speed of service).

Communicate punctually and proactively with General Manager on Business Plans, outlet performance, key associate changes, major asset issues and any other significant concerns.

Provide regular and effective updates to the General Manager on the performance of the assets and leadership during weekly 1-1 meetings.

Experience

6 years or more restaurant experience in High Volume Business

Completed Bachelor’s degree in a Hospitality related field (preferred, not mandatory)

Must understand and be able to train on How to satisfy a disappointed customer (

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances

Experience using POS systems preferred

Must pass background check and random drug tests

Position entails working both weeknights and weekends. Flexible schedule not a problem.
