Job Summary:
- A client of ours in Norfolk VA or Richmond VA is looking for a .NET Developer for a Contract opportunity.
- looking for a .Net Lead who can lead the developers to design and build applications for one of the leading health insurers in US.
- The ideal candidate must possess in depth experience in .Net and C# and must be experienced in Facets application.
- The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.
- Responsibilities:
- As a .Net Lead, you will
- Lead a team of developers and QA during all phases of application development
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliant .Net applications
- Design and implement solutions into existing environments and design business workflows to ensure proper application mapping/flow
- Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents
- Provide accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules)
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
- Document and execute unit and integration tests
- Define and implement standards and best practices for software development
- Participate in code review sessions as a coordinator, owner, reader, recorder or observer
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Quality Assurance Analysts, Software Developers, and Release Analysts in a DevOps model to extend the capabilities of the applications
- 8+ years' experience in .Net full stack development using SQL server and SSIS
- Experienced in leading an application development team
- Providing technical support for .Net applications
- Should possess a strong understanding of Facets data model as well as batch jobs in membership and billing domains
- Should be an expert in creating and implementing C# solutions based on user stories
- Excellent SQL Skills to integrate with backend
- Good team player with excellent communication skills and proactive behavior
- Experienced in working in a SAFe Agile environment
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 10+ years of .NET Developer Experience.
- Education: Bachelors (required)
