The mission of Faith Regional Health Services is to serve Christ by providing all people with exemplary medical services in an environment of love and care.Job Summary: The Rehab Therapy Support Specialist/Tech assists the Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist in patient care including transporting patients, preparing patients for treatment, applying modalities as directed by the Therapist and monitoring patients for safety during treatment. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of department/treatment areas including maintaining supplies. Directly supervised by and responsible to the Therapist, Outpatient Therapy Manager and Director of Rehabilitation.The Rehab Therapy Support Specialist/Tech schedules and registers all patients in order for the department to run efficiently. He or she performs a wide variety of clerical functions that require application of independent judgment. He or she works closely with the staff sharing the responsibility of the day-to-day operation of the department. He or she keeps well informed of all policies and procedures and of any change in job functions. His or her work will include the operation of standard office equipment, computers, and responsible contact with the public. Directly supervised by and responsible to the Office Manager and Director of Rehabilitation. Job Requirements:GED or High School Diploma preferredCurrent, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence requiredBasic Life Support certification obtained within one full month from date of hireEEO Employer/Vet/Disabled
