Overview: Seeking an experienced Clinical Medical Assistant to work in a solo family practice setting. Must be comfortable with medication names and uses, as well as referral coordination, laboratory & radiology test types.
Should possess a positive attitude, strong clinical skills, and an ability to multitask. Should be attentive to detail, reliable, efficient and organized.
Duties include: pre-visit planning, prior authorizations, result notification, patient reminders for overdue care, screening calls to the physician, and maintaining medication records. Back up triage and phlebotomy/venipuncture may also be required.
Education/training: High school graduate or GED; Medical assistant program completion (with current MA certification preferred), minimum 2 years M.A. experience required.
Hours: Temp to hire (fulltime 36 hours/week) Monday- Friday
