We are a mid-sized construction company with big plans, and we need to find a great fit for the skill sets needed, as well as, someone looking for a unique culture. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of the job and have experience wearing a few different "hats" during the day.

This position is primarily responsible for planning and administering all HR policies along with supporting various business initiatives to align with the overall mission and company goals.

The ideal applicant will have excellent people skills, along with the experience and abilities to perform the following key HR responsibilities including but not limited to:

Ability to identify job candidates by screening applicants; providing appropriate resumes to management; maintaining personnel records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information.

Maintain pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; prepare pay budgets; monitor and schedule individual pay actions; recommending, planning and implementing pay structure and revisions.

Maintains human resource records by on-boarding new hires, terminations, changes in job classification; merit increases; tracking vacation and personal time.

Ensures planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances

Documents human resource actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records (i.e. performance evaluations, disciplinary write-ups, etc.).

Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.

Updates job knowledge by partaking in appropriate training.

Explaining and enroll employees in programs.

Develop and provide employee development training.
