Pop-A-Lock Hampton Roads has openings for a roadside tech/locksmith tech position in Hampton/Newport News. Job duties include, but not limited to, Roadside assistance calls to include car door opening, jumps starts, tire changing, and gas delivery in a timely manner subject to motor club ETA requirements. This is a commission based/on call, full time position. Part time MAY be considered for the right person. You need to have a late model, 4 cylinder, fuel efficient car, not a clunker. You MUST have great customer service skills, as you will be servicing people in their time of need. Money making potential is only limited by your abilities and speed. All equipment/company phone, uniforms, training will be provided. As it is an on call position, prefer you have at least some automotive repair/mechanical skills. This is a 24/7/365 business, we never close. If you are a self motivated worker, who needs little supervision to "get the job done", i wish to talk to you. Owned and operated by retired USN, so vets obviously have preference. Also you will need to get Virginia Dept of Criminal Justice registered, as we are a DCJS licensed locksmith company. Please see their website for disqualifiers, as far as convictions. You also obviously need car insurance, and a valid drivers license.
