Our firm is in need of a new Paralegal. The successful applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and have good people skills, both face-to-face and on the phone. Attention to detail is required. At least 2 years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal for a Virginia law office, or appropriate experience at a local courthouse, is REQUIRED. Successful applicant will be asked to assist and run with all aspects of a litigation case (both family law and general civil litigation) - from meeting with clients for intake to drafting pleadings and correspondence and scheduling hearings. trials and mediations
Hours 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an hour for lunch. Parking provided.
The environment is fast-paced and the successful applicant will need to be able to adjust and balance time commitments as cases evolve.
