JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary purpose of the Community Marketing Professional is to solicit prospective guests in designated hotel lobbies, highly populated tourist locations, booths, or events in Williamsburg, VA and surrounding areas while providing excellent customer service. The Community Marketing Professional offers guests complimentary tickets and giveaways in exchange for their time to attend a sales presentation. Must be able to captivate guests' attention and book as many qualified appointments as possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Personally solicit qualified guests for a preview of Wyndham Governor's Green Resort.
-Follow guest qualification guidelines as established by the company such as annual income, spousal attendance, possession of credit cards, etc.
-Represent the Wyndham brand in a professional manner and model and strengthen our corporate culture while ensuring site performance objectives are maximized.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
-Sales experience preferred, but not required
-Competitive personality and the ability to perform within a quota carrying environment
-Resilient and able to handle rejection
-Provide exceptional customer service
-Ability to work independently and within a team environment
-Ability to work a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors
-Must be able to stand for hours at a time
