InMotion Hosting is currently looking for a strong leader to manage our Content Marketing Team focused on creating instructional content and optimizing our brand awareness. As our Content Marketing Manager you will maintain our Support Center, and create content programs that generate and advance leads through the sales funnel.
Through a combination of content marketing, technical writing and leadership skills you will be able to see the direct impact of your efforts in the growth of company profits and the professional growth of your team!
What Youll Do:
Be accountable for content marketing initiatives of our Support Center to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention
Create initiatives to crowd-source user-generated content from members in the technical community
Partner with Product Marketing teams to understand products, solutions, roadmaps and competitors strengths/weaknesses
Partner with the Marketing Product Owners to build the content strategy by identifying new, compelling content that will generate and advance leads through the sales funnel
Measure and optimize program on a regular basis
Develop the skills of new and existing team members to continually enhance team efforts
Ensure articles and videos posted by the team are in accordance with company standards
Communicate with Product Line Managers and the executive team to structure content for their products/services
Implement SEO and web analytics/Google Analytics in all posts and videos
Act as an internal and external advocate for WordPress

What Were Looking For:
Experience in a leadership role and leading a team of technical writers
Project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
Understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
Working knowledge of InMotion Hostings products and services
Experience using content marketing methodologies
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with content or technical writing
Ability to engage individuals and groups to add to the InMotion Hosting company partner list
A driven and competitive mindset towards projects and self development
Experience with technical writing or content marketing in a web hosting environment
A love of WordPress software and the broader WordPress ecosystem/marketplace
