Title: Marketing Specialist

Scope of Position
The Marketing Specialist will assist in the companys marketing efforts to help achieve immediate and long-term business goals. This is a full-time position year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize promotional activities for new products and services
- Plan and coordinate retail store events, decorations and marketing materials
- Design, schedule and implement marketing campaigns including email marketing
- Maintain and curate content for all social media platforms
- Assist with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy for all company marketing materials
- Design and manage website content and promotions
- Assist team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested
- Conduct label and packaging reviews with the Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain accurate information on all product packaging
- Assist the President with catalog planning and production
- Assist the President with product development
- Review catalog and product performances
- Meet with management on a monthly basis to discuss retail store strategies
- Conduct research to analyze customers behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences)
- Manage all advertising mediums and press releases
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing sales data, catalog and internet costs
- Monitor marketing industry news and submit reports on emerging trends to management
- Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; BA in Business or related field.
- Graduate with previous experience in a similar marketing role.
- Confident and outgoing personality.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organized and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
