Summary

Full Implant Choice Dental Studio is looking for an honest, reliable, hard-working candidate to join our team as a Dental Lab Tech. We focus our practice in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and full-arch reconstruction. This type of dentistry changes peoples lives through the artistic and beautiful smiles that we create.

Our implant/cosmetic, dental practice has an on-site lab with state-of-the-art, modern equipment. In addition, you would have access to a mentor in a Master Ceramist and Dental Lab Technician with 39 years of experience.

Qualified candidates must have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, computer skills and a desire to learn and execute new techniques and procedures.

As Dental Laboratory Technician, you will perform detailed technical operations in the fabrication, design, testing, repair, and constructing of simple and complex dental prostheses for patients.

Dental Lab Experience is a plus. But you do not have to have dental experience to apply. If you are a fine art student, have experience with Cad-Cam design and enjoy working with our hands then we would like to meet you.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma

2. Successful completion of one or more of the following:

a. A dental laboratory technician training/apprenticeship program

b. 2 years, recent experience working in a dental laboratory.

c. Fine art degree with Cad-Cam Design Experience.

3. Above average manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination

Specialized Experience preferred (not required)

Cad/Cam design and engineering

Advanced computer skills (gamers with work-ethic preferred)

Use of dental laboratory material such as impression materials, plasters, stones, waxes, metals, titanium, gold, chromium cobalt, PMMA, acrylics, porcelain, Zirconia and other similar materials

Use of laboratory equipment such as hand tools, dental lathes, engines, vacuum presses, vacuums, milling machines, 3D digital scanners and hand pieces, furnaces, casting machines, presses, flasks, and related equipment

Use of precision instruments such as computers, wet and dry milling chambers, 3D printers, sintering ovens, porcelain ovens, handpieces, articulators, and surveyors.

Construction of dental prosthetic appliances

Qualified Candidates will be given a standard exam to evaluate fine art skills.

Pay and Benefits:

$14/hour and up (Negotiable based on experience and training)

Mentorship of a Master Ceramist and Seasoned Lab Tech
