DeSigns Inc is a family owned and operated sign company with three locations. We are currently seeking to hire talented full time, in-house Graphic Designer. We have a fast paced environment with emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fluency in current graphic design practices, such as Illustrator and Photoshop
-Understanding of Mac and PC Platform programs
-Self Motivation and a drive to excel
- A passion for designing and ability to take the initiative and bring new and exciting design concepts and ideas to the table.
- 2 years experience as a graphic designer at an ad agency or in-house art department with the emphasis on designing layouts for promotional pieces and signage (Sign/Print Shop experience is a plus!)
-Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both digital media and print.
-Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
-Ability to take directions and relate effectively with others and work as a member of a team
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
What you'll be doing:
-Designing and creating layouts for customers signage needs
-Working with all types of media: Banners, interior and exterior signs, apparel, printing needs, vehicle wraps and lettering, promotional products
-Cutting Vinyl
