Field Advantage, LLC (www.fieldadv.com) is a 24 hour national field solutions provider focused on the IT industry.
We are headquartered in Norfolk. We are looking to add full time dispatchers to our team. The current at home openings are:
Day Shift - Monday through Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm
We work mostly with commercial clients, which communicate with the dispatcher via phone and email. Emails and calls come in throughout the shift and need to be answered immediately. The dispatcher is also asked to assist with deployment projects in which file management and spreadsheet skills will be needed.
The job responsibilities are as follows, but are subject to change as the position grows:
You will work from home
Answering calls and emails and all other correspondence from clients and technicians
Dispatching technicians
Maintaining workflow spreadsheets
Processing paperwork and payments for clients and technicians
Assisting with national deployment projects
Additional administrative tasks as they arise
The pay is $8.50 per hour. This is a W2 position.
You need the following to be qualified for this position.
-High speed internet connection (Computer and phone equipment will be provided by Field Advantage)

-Excellent communication skills
The dispatcher's job is to take incoming calls and emails and schedule service calls for our techs around the country. There will be some technical questions from customers but the dispatcher does not necessarily need to have a technology background. We have technicians to answer those questions. If you do have a technical background, however, that is helpful so you understand what the client is asking.
