Job Description: Network Infrastructure Support Specialist who is responsible to manage, operate, troubleshoot network infrastructure environment. Key responsibilities are break/fix technologies (such as: router, switches, VPN, DNS/DHCP, Proxy, Firewall, etc.), Root cause analysis, capacity, change management and Hardware/Software lifecycle management. This candidate will be supporting infrastructure technologies such as Router, Switches, IPv6, Software defined network, VPN Proxy, Firewall, DDoS, VPN remote access, Wireless, Packet capture as well as knowledge about scripting. Key Responsibilities:
  • All reported network issues and vendor break/fix coordination escalated from the Tier 1 support team (NCC)
  • Coordinating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and tracking. Lead RCA investigation and coordinate actions items with appropriate teams
  • Coordinating changes on all Network software and hardware. Review and approve change records as required.
  • Network monitoring, Capacity and Configuration Management. Administer and maintain network management tools.
  • Firewall Change Management - review firewall change requests and supply required configuration changes. Submit to Security teams for approval and implement changes.
  • Hardware and software Life Cycle Management. Mange network device code levels and end of life hardware tracking.
  • Implementation support - Interface with and assist various implementation teams coordinating and validating network implementations.
  • Participate in client life cycle management. setup, support and decommission
  • Global Infrastructure Services Project Support. Will be assigned to projects needed to help maintain the ADP Corporate Network.
