Technical Manager, Software Development Job Description

- Develop your teams' skills and careers
- Take complete ownership of product launch activities and coordinate closely with DevOps to monitor application performance and availability.
- Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar's technology platform and develop practices
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant work experience
- 7+ years' experience in web and database technologies
- 5+ years' experience building large distributed, API-driven systems
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of OOP and software design patterns
- Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue is desired
- Commercial Real Estate knowledge is a bonus
- Experience with SQS or Kafka
- Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB or ElasticSearch
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration
