Riverside Research is seeking a

Senior Acquisition Intelligence Subject Matter Expert to support Headquarters Air Force (HAF) Directorate of Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Cyber Effects Operations (HAF/A2/6O), Intelligence Applications Division (HAF/A2/6OC). The Senior Acquisitions Intelligence SME will support all aspects of intelligence data requirements development, prioritization and governance within the Department of the Air Force. Some telework is possible based on mission tasking. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities between Air Force acquisitions and intelligence communities to include development and prioritization of intelligence data requirements; identify and recommend process improvements to increase intelligence support to acquisitions
  • Utilize Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution System (PPBES), Joint Capabilities and Integration Development System (JCIDS), and Defense Acquisition System (DAS) to enable decision making to accomplish mission objectives; conduct cost capability and mission thread analysis as directed
  • Perform outreach/liaison with the Intelligence Community, Joint Staff, and Air Force operational users as necessary
  • Develop and maintain situational awareness of Air Force validated and prioritized intelligence data requirements, intelligence data production, as well as deficiencies and gaps between
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, information technology, mathematics, business, political science, history or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience within the intelligence community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Demonstrated experience working with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and Military Services
  • Working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES)
  • Working knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
  • Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System (DAS)
  • Experience coordinating information and recommendations from disparate communities and turning them into written products (policy, process definition, action plans, etc)
  • Experience in distilling complex information into products for senior DoD officials
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, information technology, mathematics, business, political science, history or related fields
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, DAU, INCOSE, or similar
