SENIOR LOGISTICS ANALYST (PMF-21-0393-F): Bowhead is seeking a Senior Logistician/Analyst for our (PM) Fires Acquisition Support program to provide general support of logistics duties assigned by MARCORSYSCOM. The candidate's duties include, but are not limited to the following: • Attend Government and Contractor Meetings on behalf of the USMC AFATDS Program Office, report critical information to the Program Office that requires decisions. • Draft and update program acquisition documentation to include Lifecycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Disposal Plans, Naval Messages, and Stocklists for government review and acceptance. . • Participate in IPTs, working groups, and logistics review groups. • Develop Product Briefings and Presentation Materials to communicate FDST systems information to the user and Program Office personnel. • Support periodic validation and adjustment of Approved Acquisition Objectives (AAOs) and draft POM funding initiatives for Government review and approval. • Apply engineering and analytical disciplines required to implement life-cycle (acquisition) logistics as a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with the experimental development, design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment, and improvement modifications of cost effective systems that achieve readiness requirements. • Conduct assessments of emerging technologies based on research, technical interchanges and other sources, and provide recommendations on the timing and appropriateness of integration of new and improved hardware and software solutions. Requirements •Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 2, or equivalent logistics training, or possess an additional three (3) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics. • Ten (10) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 13 years if not DAWIA Level 2 certified). PREFERRED SKILLS: • Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 5000.02 • Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 5000.2 • Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS)Part 5207 • The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Acquisition Guide (MAG) SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
