ALTA IT has a Contract to Hire position open for a Systems Integrator located Quantico, VA. Onsite
Clearance: Top Secret clearance; must be TS/SCI eligible Join the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. This position is part of the IT Technology Operations division within the organization and performs the following responsibilities/functions on the POM network:- Integrated experience in working with various Microsoft based applications and services to include Active Directory, DNS, SQL Server, Exchange 2016 & 2019, Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows Server Update Services, etc.
- Daily operational experience with VMware vCenter for virtual machine management
- Supports enterprise storage capacity planning and remediation
- Administer web servers, IIS and Apache
- Supports admin and user backup and recovery requests along with storage engineer
- Familiarity with Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for desktop deployments
- Implements STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications
- Tracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities
- Manages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as required
- Performs software upgrades, patch installs, and firmware upgrades
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
- Daily written and oral communications with leadership and coworkers
- Continual attention to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements needed to harden servers
- Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using vSphere
- Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks
- Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on task
- 7+ years in systems administration
- Requires a firm understanding of technologies, including:
- MS Active Directory, DNS
- MS SQL Server 2012/2016/2019
- VMware vSphere 6.X/7.0
- Web Server IIS, Apache
- Basic network troubleshooting experience for system connectivity
- DoD system accreditation process
- STIG checklist review process to include SCAP scans and implementation
- Group Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenance
- Improving system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of servers and workstations
- Required: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (ex. CompTIA Security+ CE)
- Required: Active Top-Secret clearance - required to start
