M9 Solutions is seeking a
Product Manager to work remotely on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities- Enable decision making at the product / team level.
- Communicate the strategic vision and value proposition of a product.
- Articulate the plan for delivering the strategic vision.
- Communicate specific resource capacity requirements for delivery.
- Highlight risks and interdependencies to enable cross-product planning.
- Identify and document technical boundaries of the product for clear accountability.
- Be part of a team to lead the transformation to Agile/DevOps and Product Management across the organization.
- Work with the Program Lead to ensure coaching support is aligned with the current direction of the Product Transformation effort.
- Help develop and guide customer focused Agile product teams.
- Provide Agile, DevSecOps, and portfolio management expertise for enterprise transformation and product team support.
- Develop and facilitate training and awareness to support learning.
- Document and institutionalize best practices by developing guidance and facilitating measurement and reporting on processes and skills.
- Enable product teams through empowerment, facilitation of communications, and support of standards.
- A bachelor's degree required, or 4 years of experience may be substituted for a 4 year degree.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years progressive agile product management and understanding of agile.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical and process guidance and direction.
- Capability to manage multi-task projects of high complexity for Federal government clients.
- Advisory and consultancy skills, business development experience interfacing with the client.
- Contribute to the development of the practice area.
- Experience working with senior leaders of the client organization in implementing the agile team.
- Ability to interface and coach product leaders.
- Experience with Lean Portfolio Management using Lean Kanban.
- Experience in conducting Product and Agile trainings to leaders, executives, and teams.
- Experience with DevOps processes.
- Exposure to test automation.
- Experienced working with an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
- Demonstrated ability to work with direction as well as to work independently.
- Product management or agile certificates will be nice-to-have and analytic/product adoption analytic certificates will be a huge plus.
