- Currently, this is a full-time remote position (work from home). Must reside within the United States.

- In-depth system administration of Linux environments
- Integrate and troubleshoot systems in a Linux environment (CentOS/RHEL)
- Implement and secure services relating to remote connections
- Integrate Multi-factor authentication (MFA, 2MFA)
- Enhance data protection and compliance (with technologies such as OpenSSL, Keystores, Azure Key Vault, Cyphers)
- Secure systems by following STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements (such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FISMA, FEDRAMP), and negotiating/working-with IA personnel to arrive at sensible and effective solutions
- Manage SELinux configuration and policies using automated methods
- ?Troubleshoot and develop new SELinux policies (CIL/M4 macros) as needed
- Able to track down the root cause of a service/application failure using logs and CLI-based tools
- Perform integrations with network devices, such as VPN, firewall, routing
- Perform Linux integration into an AD domain without the use of a third-party application
- Create, analyze, and automate Linux scripts (Command, Bash, C, Ansible)
- Implement automated tasks within a Linux environment via CLI
- Develop custom Ansible playbooks and roles from the ground up
- Work independently or on very small teams to integrate systems and solutions, triage issues, and prioritize tasks.
- Create and manage technical solutions. Brief solutions to other members of the team.
- You may be asked to attend meetings, obtain credentials, etc. Virtually (with and without a camera), in a CACI or government office at any time
- US Citizenship required
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be successfully obtain to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) EOD authorization. Active DoD clearance preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor?s degree (BA/BS) in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering) or equivalent years of related job experience
- 7+ years of cumulative demonstrated work experience in the following disciplines:
- Strong engineering experience integrating and troubleshooting servers in a Linux environment (CentOS/RHEL preferred)
- Experience securing Linux systems by following STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements (such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FISMA, FEDRAMP), and working with IA personnel to arrive at effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience creating, analyzing, and automating Linux scripts (Command, Bash, C, Ansible)
- Experience with a distributed version control system, such as GitHub / GIT
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Kanban
- Experience briefing technical and non-technical customers and answering technical questions
- Experience with in-depth systems administration in Linux environments (RHCE equivalence)
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related subject area
- Relevant Technical and/or Security Certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCNA, CCDA, CCNA-Security, etc.)
- One (1) of the following certifications: Azure DevOps Engineering Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Understands and intuits "why things work", not just the ability to follow installation and configuration guides
- Experience integrating/understanding Multi-factor authentication (MFA, 2MFA)
- Experience with enhance data protection and compliance. (such as OpenSSL, Keystores, Azure Key Vault, Cyphers)
- Experience with network integrations and concepts such as VPN, firewall, routing
- Proven communication skills both written and verbal to management
