CACI is actively seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support an established quality management program that applies to maintenance and upgrades to the USDA Web Based Supply Chain Management System (WBSCM). WBSCM is based on SAP and Salesforce IT platforms. The quality staff defines, develops, and maintains quality processes and standards in alignment with the corporate project delivery framework, which supports industry best practices that incorporate ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27000, CMMI®, PMBOK, and ITIL processes. You will objectively evaluate and ensure compliance to these standards, contract requirements and project processes through inspection, review, monthly release audits and lessons learned - all with a focus on continuous process improvement. The QA staff is also responsible for the management of the document deliverable process including deliverable scheduling, quality reviews of numerous deliverable documents and work products as well as the development, maintenance and reporting of contract Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) measurements and additional performance metrics as needed.

Our Web-based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) project with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) offers significant exposure and growth opportunity for individuals joining CACI. WBSCM provides a 6-year contract opportunity and is a premier CACI project offering the opportunity to work on development of an internet-based application for food distribution built on SAP software. Your work on this project will directly contribute toward feeding school children via the National School Lunch Program; assisting in emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic; and assisting with the Food Distribution Program by working on a Salesforce subsystem called the Integrated Food Management System (IFMS) to serve the Indian Tribal Organizations.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in Implementation and maintenance of the WBSCM Quality Management Plan (QMP) and associated quality procedures and metrics
  • Apply CMMI®, ISO 9001, Agile software development, and software quality assurance knowledge to assist teams within the program to define, document and maintain standard processes and metrics
  • Following the Quality Management Plan, objectively evaluate, through quality audits and reviews, the project processes, deliverables, and services against the applicable WBSCM Project process descriptions and standards
  • Manage and/or contribute to the deliverable documents and work products creation, review and delivery process
  • Assist project staff in identifying, creating, documenting, tracking, and reporting against performance measurements and quality objectives to analyze monthly measurement data for deviations and trends
  • Represent Quality Assurance at different review boards including Configuration Control Board (CCB), Defect Review Board (DRB), Program Management customer meetings and other internal project meetings and communicate to government representatives on quality issues
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing project Lessons Learned
  • Lead QA meetings with project team members as necessary
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes, and work cooperatively with the CACI team to provide high-quality seamless service to our customer

Required Qualifications:
  • BS in a STEM discipline (ideally Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience with a minimum of 2-3 year of related technical experience
  • Ability to obtain National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation for public trust positions
  • Exhibits a high level of capability using Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create professionally written, formatted and delivered documentation and presentations
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one quality and management framework such as CMMI, ISO 9001, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, and PMBOK-
  • Experience in basic statistics and use of MS Excel to analyze and graph measurements
  • Basic Experience in database applications and tools for supporting quality reviews and audits
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail through past work and professional experience with ability to differentiate major and minor issues for investigation and resolution
  • Proven ability to work under minimal supervision, comfortably, efficiently, and sensitively with project staff in support of quality initiatives
  • Demonstrates a history of successful interpersonal skills and clarity of communication

Desired Qualifications:
  • American Society for Quality, Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or willing to obtain
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall Project Management Methodologies
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Micro Focus ALM and ServiceNow
  • High proficiency in Excel including ability to produce complex data analysis spreadsheets with creation of various types of charts
  • Familiarity with General Database / Data Trend Analysis / Data Analytics
  • Previous experience with CACI Delivery+ methodology a definite plus
  • Agile certification (PSM, CSM) is a plus

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $49,900-$99,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
