As a
Solutions Architect, you will use cloud and technical architecture expertise to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing- Lead teams that design and deliver effective, high-quality solutions to solve challenging business problems
- Interact directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and goals
- Guide customers in selecting the appropriate application architecture and products
- Mentor others to help them achieve their career goals
- Produce design artifacts and documentation for solutions such as N-tier and UML architecture diagrams and flowcharts using tools like Visio and PowerPoint
- Produce design decks capturing functional/non-functional requirements, security summary, performance testing metrics analysis, development platform comparisons, and network analysis
- Manage and analyze test planning and execution to include performance, unit, and integration testing
- Support business development activities, including presentations, proposals, white papers, blog postings, and proof of concepts (POCs)
- Work closely with cloud-native application architectures (PaaS, IaaS, microservices, containerization, serverless computing, API design
- Design, write, troubleshoot, and document systems and application code
- Over ten years of experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC), front end web development (Angular, JavaScript frameworks) and databases (SQL, NoSQL) to develop software solutions
- Experience with distributed systems (microservices, SOA, REST, ESB) and general industry-specific design principles and frameworks with a background with PowerShell scripting
- In-depth understanding of application architecture principles and patterns
- Experience leading members of a development team
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum framework, and SAFe Planning)
- Expert level experience designing, implementing and documenting scalable and highly available solutions on a public cloud (Azure)
- Ability and desire to keep up with changing industry trends
- Ability to review PRs with the Development team and make code changes when applicable
- Understanding of core cloud services (Storage, Compute, Networking) along with a broad knowledge of cloud service offerings
- Implement CI/CD processes, and strive for consistency and repeatability by using tools like PowerShell and Azure DevOps
- Previous exposure to technologies including SharePoint, Dynamics Platform (BI, CRM, PowerApps)
- Automate and script repetitive tasks
- Acquired Microsoft Azure certifications
- Desire to blog and present on technical topics
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automation tools
