Database Engineer - TS/SCI Required
Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Database Engineer for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community. Various levels are outlined below. Functional Role: Database Engineer - Senior• Duties: Designs and develops database schemas and maintains database users. Designs and develops database objects including stored procedures, functions, triggers and views. Completes actual data scrubbing and database administration work to geographically replicate data in order to address latency issues and availability within the transition MIDB database. Assists in the planning and engineering of the transition MIDB database. Monitors the performance, scalability and security. Supports the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process within DIA for the transition MIDB database.• Degree: Bachelors• Experience: 9-20 years experience of database development in Defense or secured Government Installations.• Certifications: Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Oracle Certified Professional Certification (OCP), CompTIA Security+ CE certification - DoD 8570 Compliant.Functional Role: Database Engineer - Journeyman• Duties: Designs and develops database schemas and maintains database users. Designs and develops database objects including stored procedures, functions, triggers and views. Completes actual data scrubbing and database administration work to geographically replicate data in order to address latency issues and availability within the transition MIDB database. Assists in the planning and engineering of the transition MIDB database. Monitors the performance, scalability and security. Supports the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process within DIA for the transition MIDB database.• Degree: Bachelors• Experience: 2-5 years experience of database development in Defense or secured Government Installations.• Desired: AWS Cloud Certifications and experience in cloud-hosted infrastructure services.
