Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Jr. Cloud Support Engineer to support a new Intelligence Community initiative. The Jr. Cloud Support Engineer will be responsible for developing and supporting cloud scaling efforts to house next generation AI and Deep Machine Learning technology which will be hosted in AWS (C2S). The scope is to integrate tailored applications with the customer's cloud service to deliver a capability in AI/Machine Learning that will majorly assist in collection efforts.
The team is willing to train and guide the Jr. Cloud Support Engineer in cloud engineering until they are comfortable working independently without guidance. Technical Environment: Linux and AWS (C2S). Location: Reston, VA Responsibilities:- Assist in large-scale virtualized infrastructure in the cloud.
- Assist in containerization efforts (PaaS Services, Docker, and Kubernetes)
- Assist in develop Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
- Assist in automation effort utilizing tools such as Ansible
- Assist in cloud architecture design and implementation efforts
- Collaborate with fellow technical teams to plan and schedule deployment release of applications
- U.S. Citizenship
- An active Top Secret / SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community
- Years of Experience: 1 - 5 years of IT related experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
- Prior experience or exposure in either of the following: Systems Administration, DevOps, DevSecOps, Software Development, Software Test Engineering, Web Development, Application Development, AI/Machine Learning, Cloud Engineering, Cloud/System Architecting, and or Bash scripting.
- Experience or Exposure to: Ansible, Bash, Chef, HTML/CSS, Java, Python, Perl, Puppet, Ruby, or any related languages/tools
- Salary: $130,000 - $160,000
