As a

Power Platform Architect, you will have the ability to contribute to the growth of our Business Applications group by helping large scale organizations adopt Microsoft Power Platform at an enterprise level with a focus on the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents as well as Dynamics 365. AIS delivers cross-cloud transformation solutions that help commercial and federal enterprises improve business results by migrating to the cloud, modernizing apps, and using data intelligence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work on presales opportunities to qualify leads, ideate with clients, work with our internal procurement process to execute contracts, and assist accounts as they kickoff
  • Mentor other accounts teams engaged on Power Platform projects
  • Assist AIS on the creation and maintenance of intellectual property related to Power Platform delivery
  • Provide support for our talent team to do technical evaluations for potential candidates
  • Interact with Microsoft SMEs, managers, and product teams to work on strategy and alignment
  • Creating offerings and other marketing materials and socializing them to internal and external audiences
  • Work with other AIS leaders, architects, and developers to develop and execute on Power Platform strategy

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

Profile of Success

  • Assist clients on all aspects of Power Platform enterprise governance and administration including DevOps
  • Understanding the best practices for data modeling and implementing those models into applications such as Dataverse
  • An understanding of development best practices and principles with programming languages inside (Liquid, Power Fx) and outside the Power Platform (JavaScript, C#)
  • Oversee client discovery workshops, requirements gathering, training for end users and administrators, and development of conceptual design and architecture
  • Proven experience designing and developing applications across the Power Platform (Canvas, Model-Driven, Portals, Power BI, Automate)
  • Comprehend the architectural principles of Azure and Microsoft 365 to build holistic Microsoft solutions
  • Support activities in a pre-sales role by solution guidance in writing and architecting of proposals supporting Power Platform opportunities
  • Assist clients on all aspects of Power Platform enterprise governance and administration including DevOps

Desirable Skills

  • Significant programming experience in both traditional and front-end languages
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's Success by Design
