The Defense Group of Leidos is anticipating a Telework opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work on a Development IT Services program to minimize and prevent overall nonconformance to specifications, standards, and customer expectations for services rendered in the most effective and efficient manner in support of the contract. The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the processes, systems, and mechanisms by which all elements of performance measurement work together to provide a framework for linking performance requirements to strategic objectives, business plans, and the organizational mission. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the evaluation of performance based on the measures captured in Service Level Management plans, the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Performance Requirements (PRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Quality Assurance Engineer will conduct internal service process audits against the program documentation and Leidos command media. Findings from the audits will be analyzed via root cause analysis. The corrections and corrective/preventive actions will be documented and trends will be analyzed. Support will be provided for preparation, readiness, and conduct of external assessments for CMMI and ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities Include:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing guidance and oversight of the following Quality Assurance and Performance Analysis and functions:
  • Develop Quality Plans to establish a sound Quality Management System within which the program is to operate.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance to customer requirements, program plans/procedures and Leidos command media.
  • Establish metrics to measure performance.
  • Identify and manage an overarching understanding of dependencies that could potentially affect metrics.
  • Review product and service deliverables and conduct code inspections.
  • Establish and maintain processes to continually improve the effectiveness of meeting performance metrics.
  • Provide Quality oversight with varying levels of status on all performance related activities and functions.
  • Initiate timely root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action assignment for all nonconformities, services, or deliverables that do not meet customer defined standards.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience and or DoD specific experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience leading all Quality activities involving performance requirements compliance with applicable contract requirements, conducting performance audits and reviewing/analyzing data, deliverables, and documentation.
  • Data analysis experience including extraction, transformation, loading, and running reports and queries of associating performance data and metrics against applicable service level requirements.
  • Ability to assist the Quality Assurance department in the development and implementation of procedures and plans (e.g. QA Plan, QA Surveillance Plan [QASP] corrective action plans) for assuring quality products and services in an agile environment.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Masters degree in a related field with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • CMMI-SVC and CMMI-DEV implementation.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Level Certification.
  • Quantitative analysis experience.

Clearance Required:
  • Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00#Remote
