Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support a premiere global DNS resolution servicer in Reston, Virginia . The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be expected to provide QA, infrastructure, and automation expertise.
Responsibilities of the Senior Site Reliability Engineer include: • Provide senior level engineering support for DevOps and system administration teams • Perform orchestration & automation of scripts and infrastructure-as-code • Provide configuration and administration tasks in a Linux environment • Must be willing to work in Reston, Virginia once Covid restrictions are lifted Qualifications for the Senior Site Reliability Engineer include: • 7 + years of experience developing and operating mission-critical systems • 1+ years of experience in a cloud environment using DevOps practices • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study • Experience with management and automation tools including: OpenStack, SRE/DevOps, Linux configuration and administration, Python coding, and automation using Ansible and Jenkins • Understanding of infrastructure-as-code Compensation for the Senior Site Reliability Engineer include: • Pay Rate Range: $60-70/hr W2 depending on experience • Full Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Health, Dental, Vision, 401k Keywords: DevOps, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Automation, infrastructure, architecture, deployment, Python, Teraform, CI/CD, CICD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, Linux, System Admin, sys admin, DNS, Groovy, Docker, domain name system, RestonVacancy expired!
