Here, you will help lead our industry forward and make your career.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCoordinate and manage the entrance of new hardware and software into the IT computing environment and define the process for release package assembly, version control, migration control, release preparation and acceptance, communication and installation using Agile framework methodologies. Perform configuration management for all different applications running on all environments and manage the production release process that ensures the reliability, stability (performance tuning) and availability of the platform. Including system hardening and resiliency for high availability (HA). Develop best practices for infrastructure as code (e.g. Shell scripting), software planning and build tools (Jira, Confluence, Maven, ANT, Shell) and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Hudson), and infrastructure automation (VM Ware, Chef, etc).Gather requirements and develop customer status reporting with essential metrics and report dashboards using business intelligence tools (Spotfire and Tableau).QualificationsRequired:- Master's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Technology, or Engineering plus 3 years of experience in software development.
- Employer will accept Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Technology, or Engineering plus 5 years of progressive experience in software development.
- Experience must include Shell scripting, Maven, ANT, Shell, Jenkins, Hudson, VM Ware, Chef, Clearcase, SVN, GIT, Jira, Confluence, Spotfire/Tableau, Groovy, XML, UML, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, and Agile. Excellent communication skills.
