Accounts Payable / GovCon AP Specialist (Cost Point) Reston, VA Hybrid, Onsite 3 days / week, 2 days/week REMOTE model Job Type: Temp/Contract (Potential to convert to full-time down the line) Job Description: Our client is looking to bring on a temporary (contract) AP Specialist with at least 5 years of GovCon related Corporate Accounting experience, specifically who's been well adept to working with Deltek Cost Point Accounting systems / modules. Need a fast learner who can come in and hit the ground running quickly in assisting the firm in handling any/all AP related functions, especially in/around entering vouchers into cost point and handling high volume, fast paced work. Need someone who is well experienced working in a fast moving, high functioning environment. Team player needed with excellent communications and interpersonal skills! Basic Requirements:- 5-7+ years of experience in a corporate accounting environment, specifically supporting Government / Federal Contracting firms, or GovCon companies in their Corporate Accounting Efforts
- GovCon AP (Accounts Payable) Experience + CostPoint experience is KEY
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, Comfortable utilizing any/all standard MS Office Suite applications
- Experience working in an Accounts Payable capacity with expertise utizling Deltek CostPoint accounts payable module
- Seeking someone who has experience working with employees and interacting with them in regard to their expense reports and resolving routine expense report related issues
- Need someone with solid organizational skills to balance and prioritize work, someone who's a planner would be wonderful, excellent planning capabilities are a key skill needed in this role
- At least 5-years of experience in an Accounts Payable/related role in Corporate Accounting
- Handle High volumes of AP Vouchers and deal with entering those vouchers into Cost Point on a day-to-day basis
- Will be respnsible for handling between 50 to 100 vouchers being entered daily
- It is key that the person applying for this role has the experience in Cost Point and the AP know-how to be able to jump in and hit the ground running working with this level of volume in terms of the AP Vouchers needing to be entered into the Cost Point system
