Job Title: Architecture Repository Analyst/Manager

Location: Reston, VA (Initial Remote, later onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (High Possibility of Extension)

Description:
  • Candidate an experienced architecture repository administrator/manager with project management and leadership skills.
  • You understand the value and impact of a robust, accessible architecture modelling tool and repository.
  • You also understand the purpose and roles of architecture domain teams (business, enterprise, solution, data) and how a modelling tool and repository can help them succeed.

Candidate:
  • As a Senior Architecture Analyst, you’ll apply your analytical, communications and creative skills to help architects define use cases and requirements for the Architecture Tool & Repository (ATR).
  • You’ll work with a team to configure and deploy new ATR features (i.e., diagram templates, interactive dashboards, workflows, reports, portal pages), manage ATR operations, and ensure that architecture content is organized and accessible to stakeholders / consumers via the architecture portal.

Responsibilities:
  • Architecture Tool Configuration
  • Project Management
  • Work with team and vendor consultants to configure Orbus iServer365 features, including viewpoint templates (Visio), metamodel, catalogs, reports, Power BI dashboards, workflows, and SharePoint portal pages.
  • Work with business, solution, and enterprise architects to define use cases and requirements for iServer365 features to be configured and deployed.
  • Architecture Tool Management – Support administration and operations of the iServer365 ATR, including user onboarding, troubleshooting, intake requests, curation, and continual improvement.
  • Architecture Tool Knowledge Transfer and Training – Work with team members to capture / document knowledge acquired from Orbus consultants related to ATR configuration and administration activities.
  • Support development of end-user training material to supplement vendor-provided courses with specific use cases and configuration.
  • Support development, maintenance, execution, and monitoring of the ATR Project Plan.
  • Maintain backlog of ATR use cases and features and engage users, stakeholders, and ATR steering committee in the prioritization and sequencing of backlog items.
  • Prepare project status reports, inputs to issue / risks register, and overall ATR project roadmap for periodic review with the ATR steering committee
