Now that's just icing on the cake.The AcademyThe BDR Academy is a 12-month development program to arm newly graduated BDR’s with Sales skills such as prospecting, lead generation, business etiquette, etc. The BDR Academy is designed to develop our early in career BDR’s into experienced sales professionals with the knowledge, skills and development needed to excel in their careers and create a sense of community & belonging.Skills you will learn along the way include:- Effectively articulate the technical & business values of all Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Skill focused training to include prospecting, presentation & whiteboard skills, account planning, forecasting, quoting, financial acumen, negotiation and value selling.
- Bring in newly graduated, top talent into the company.
Qualifications
Your ExperiencePrevious work experience in inbound and outbound calls and inquiries
Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology and to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
