Our client ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, is looking for an experience Cloud Engineer with a Top Secret Clearance looking to work with Microsoft on their exciting, new Azure project.

The Cloud Engineer would be responsible for managing patching, antivirus, vulnerability management and remediation, and configurations with engineering teams supporting Microsoft cloud services. This role will engage with appropriate stakeholders to identify and support focus areas to meet customer SLAs.

Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate remediation timeframe requirements and identify areas of improvement Provide evidence of vulnerability remediation compliance and residual risk to customers and regulators on a recurring basis Manage reporting and evidence for proper configuration settings within the environment Develop and maintain onboarding requirements of management areas (see role description), including data flow diagrams, networking diagrams, and continuous monitoring tasks Perform analysis on cloud-scale datasets to provide service engineers with insights needed to perform effective vulnerability remediation and proper configuration Analyze errors, logs and apply corrective actions. Collaborate with customer teams to resolve issues Triage any platform performance issues and assist in resolution or escalate to appropriate team Drive service team onboarding into compliance boundary and PAVC tooling Create and review monthly customer reports including plans of action, mitigation milestones, and risk evaluations Coordinate restoration actions with customer teams and other stakeholders on behalf of customer

Debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills Ability to learn theory of operation and extend concepts to perform methodical troubleshooting without predefined procedures

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications/Licensures:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

CSP Associate level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud. Professional level certification a plus

Relevant Work Experience:

5+ years of IT experience with a combination of: o 2+ years supporting Operations o 2+ years of service engineering, site reliability engineering or developer experience

Other Job Specific Skills

Computer Science background, coding academy, or equivalent industry experience C#, Java, C, C, PowerShell, SQL, or other scripting/programming language Fundamental knowledge of Identity Access Management and Shared Security responsibilities. Broad understanding of backup and/or storage principles, theories, and concepts within the cloud environments. Hands-on experience supporting enterprise server, backup and/or storage solutions within the cloud environments. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Broad troubleshooting knowledge to include the areas of storage, backups, server operating systems and networks. Knowledge of cloud service providers. Cloud command line scripting skills Documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, and support documentation. Outstanding communication, project & priority management, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of information life-cycle management concepts and best practices.
