- Conducts technical research when necessary to contribute to setting cloud security direction and strategy.
- Designs, develop and implements new cloud security technologies to support business and technology solutions.
- Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for AWS Native security services and third party security technologies, applications, and processes,
- Design high availability solutions on AWS across availability zones and regions
- Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS.
- Responsible for taking proposals / POC to Implementation.
- Designing AWS cloud security solution in hybrid enterprise environment.
- Implementing AWS cloud security solution and proof of concept environment.
- Creating cloud migration designs and migrating client environment
- Establishing trust and collaborative working relationships with the clients including participating in client workshops
- Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Solution designing in AWS environment.
- Should have relevant hands-on implementation experience in AWS services and components.
- Experience in migrating existing On-premises applications/physical/virtual servers to AWS environment.
- Fundamental understanding of accepted security practices, troubleshooting issues, attack vectors, and customer support.
- Very good understanding of Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
- Knowledge on hybrid public cloud design concepts
- An understanding of application hosting, integration, and resilience principles
- Organization’s security policies and standards for use in cloud environments
- Execute security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices in cloud environment design
- Practical knowledge of security monitoring, detection, and response in cloud environments
- Strong familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and cloud provider ecosystems like Amazon AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Cloud security services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or Cyber Security related discipline, professional training, or work experience
- AWS Security Certification or other cyber security certifications are a plus.
