Overview
The Squires Group has several multi-year contract opportunities for DevOps Specialists to work on a Federal Project based in Reston, VA. As a DevOps Specialist, your duties will include patching, setting up accounts, and facilitating onboarding with account requests with the customer. You will gain experience in Cloud, AWS, and other trending technologies. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background requirements. Responsibilities- Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
- Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Learn new technologies/coding solutions/algorithms
- Collaborate closely with fellow Scrum team members to produce the best product possible
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Administration
- 1+ years of UNIX or Linux experience
- Experience using/developing with AWS services
- AWS certifications
- Experience with DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifacatory, Selenium, etc.
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background requirements
