The marketing leader will be responsible for developing and managing integrated marketing programs targeting Education and Research institutions. Reporting to the Head of Industry and Public Sector Marketing, this individual will work collaboratively to develop and execute integrated marketing programs to increase awareness and drive demand across Higher Education and K12 institutions while supporting strategic priorities and growth objectives.Your ImpactPlanning & ExecutionDevelop and implement industry marketing plans covering content development, digital marketing, and marketing communications

Manage industry focused webinars and participation at third-party events, such as Educause

Work with key industry associations across educational institutions to build engagement and drive incremental sales opportunities

Use quarterly planning templates to communicate industry plans to marketing leadership, GTM teams and sales leadership

Work with internal teams to develop and expand PR opportunities in select industry trade publications

Serve as the marketing SME in the Education and Research vertical market within the Americas

Elevate DemandFocus on executing impactful campaigns to establish the company as the cybersecurity leader across Higher Education and K12 institutions

Leverage automated processes to develop and manage “always-on” marketing programs

Foster creativity and find new ways to market with end users and partner teams

Identify market direction, what’s important to customers, where technology and features are evolving and where the company can effectively compete across vertical markets

Ensure marketing programs & tactics delivered on time, within budget, meeting ROI expectations/forecast

Vertical Marketing LeadAct as the marketing “quarterback” for the Education & Research vertical market

Partner with sales and product teams to communicate strategic focus areas and manage event and digital execution across vertical markets

Provide weekly marketing updates to key sales stakeholders via weekly calls and email communications, including industry newsletters

Pipeline GenerationTeam with select partners to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to increase sales pipeline opportunities

Drive new logo acquisition and refresh opportunities via marketing campaigns & initiatives

Communicate quarterly marketing contribution to pipeline metrics to sales teams

​​​​​​Your Experience​​​​​​ Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study

7+ years marketing experience in a technology-driven organization and industry marketing job function

Strong knowledge of key customer drivers in industries focused on education and state and local government

Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic field marketing organization that partners directly with sales

Excellent project management and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Understanding of modern marketing and digital programs mechanics, testing strategies, demand waterfall processes and metrics and campaign influence

Experience delivering webinar and virtual event programs including knowledge of SFDC, Marketo, ON24 and other Martech tools

Strong communicator (verbal and written) with proven ability to project manage multiple projects at once and keep the team informed of status

Self starter with a positive attitude who can prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented, environment, with excellent time management skills

Attention to detail, while maintaining an eye on the big picture

Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a "can-do" attitude
