As a
Proposal Manager, you will serve as a member of the Bids & Proposals Team helping our business development team prepare formal and informal bids and proposals. Working with teaming partners and internal subject matter experts, you will lead multi-disciplined teams following a standard proposal development process. The Proposal Manager will lead and actively participate in the organizing, writing, editing, and final production process. What You'll Be Doing- Interview subject matter experts and translate technical solutions into effective business communications
- Plan proposal development activities across a diverse team with a wide range of skills resulting in compliant and compelling responses
- Apply Microsoft Word/PowerPoint and other desktop publishing skills in preparing successful responses to formal and informal solicitations
- Proofread and edit content to ensure concise, and effective communications
- Adhere to corporate proposal development process
- Maintain proposal and past performance SharePoint sites to include organizing information, adding/deleting members, creating libraries, uploading content
- Evaluate solicitations (RFx) for corporate suitability and validate response compliance prior to submission
- Coordinate teaming arrangements and data call responses
- Lead/coordinate proposal meetings to include kick-offs, color reviews, debriefs, lessons learned, etc.
- Bachelor's degree and at least five years of project or account management experience
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of an organization
- Experience using established corporate processes and policies for repeatability
- Experience with O365 specifically Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams PowerPoint
- Self-directed and motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, without supervision
- Good organizational skills, reliability, and dependability
- Comfortable working with people and within a team environment
- Interest in or understanding of federal IT consulting
- Critical and analytical skills with refined attention to detail
- Structured, process-oriented thinker
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum, project management, and quality management
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to elicit and document processes and procedures
- Understanding of federal contracting and procurement
- General understanding of the Shipley Process
- Practical experience of SharePoint sites, subsites, and libraries
- General understanding of cloud computing
