The Senior Engineer will design, develop and implement solutions that include not only the code that services business functionality, but the underlying infrastructure required to run that code and the systems required to deploy it.Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for complex design and implementation, managing parts of ongoing projects and closely adhering to deadlines. Candidate will also take responsibility for creating design specifications and preparing technical documentation.The successful candidate will have an interest and background in cloud technologies. This person will help build systems, using an array of diverse technologies such as AWS, Office 365, Azure and deploy automation and tooling to empower Client staff to work more efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and communicative team player to work on a fast-paced team that is building services using cloud technologies following Agile best practices.
What you'll doo Design, build and deploy systems to improve workforce productivityo Integrate, engineer and optimize Office 365 and Azure serviceso Promote best practices within the team to improve quality, reduce risk, increase security, promote efficiency and reuse, and minimize costso Analyze business needs that align with Office 365 features in support of workforce productivity and collaborationo Interact with and integrate diverse cloud services using Web APIso Architect and document designs using best practices with a focus on securityo Be the subject matter expert for all components of Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Security and Compliance, etc.)o Integrate and implement cloud services in support of workforce efficiency and automationo Provide operational support for all O365 services componentso Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Office 365 and related technologies to drive collaboration, productivity, and an improved user experience.TEAMWORKo Establishes networks across work streams enabling work to progress forwardo Shares job knowledge and provides solutionso Makes meaningful contributions to projects and engineering initiativeso Takes initiative, anticipates and provides insight into project roadmaps in support of both individual and group goalso Interacts closely with senior technical team membersAbout you• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS• Strong ability to understand and internalize the big picture and broader implications• Expert level experience in implementation and support of O365 services including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure AD.• Experience with the management of Exchange Online in a hybrid environment including knowledge of SPF and DMARC. Experience with Proofpoint a plus.• Experience with migration of on-premise file shares to cloud solutions preferred (OneDrive, SharePoint Online)• Experience with writing scripts or applications to automate repetitive business processes.• Experience with using Power Automate to facilitate employee self-service and efficiency.• Experience using ServiceNow and Atlassian a plus.• Experience working in an Agile-Scrum environment.
