Microsoft Azure provides customers with on-demand and infinitely scalable infrastructure and platform for customers to build, host, and scale service applications on the Internet through Microsoft’s global data centers.FastTrack for Azure (FTA) is a technical enablement program staffed with Azure product group engineers and program managers who work directly with customers and partners to help them build Azure solutions quickly and confidently, enabling the successful deployment of Azure services. Our goal is to help customers accelerate and de-risk their Azure deployments, while collecting valuable feedback to improve the Azure platform.FastTrack for Azure (FTA) takes a solution-centric approach, providing customers with Microsoft Azure engineers, tools, and best practices to significantly increase customer’s success with Azure. Our team is looking for you, a Senior Program Manager, to support our Azure VMWare Solution (AVS) business that brings great teamwork, organization & structure, an inquisitive mind, positive attitude, high-energy leadership, and engineering execution to our customer-focus team, chartered with enabling a world-class experience for Microsoft Azure cloud platform customers. This role is integral to overall operationalization of the customer onboarding experience and driving success through FTA engagements focusing on AVS.ResponsibilitiesYour areas of responsibility include:Lead the customer onboarding journey to Azure VMWare Solution (AVS), the customer experience and maintain the overall customer relationship.

Work closely with FTA engineers in addressing customer solution needs and driving success with their AVS deployments.

Ability to generate trust, build alliances across the organization, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of engineering, partners and customers.

Identify opportunities where we can do better for our customers (process, tools, technology) to increase FTA’s overall impact.

Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, sales, services and partner teams.

Coach team members and mentor others in planning, organizing, and coordinating customer projects.

Evangelize FTAs expertise on AVS projects and proactively search for opportunities to accelerate and unblock customer journeys to AVS and across all Azure services. Build and manage a pipeline of these opportunities.

Collaborate with FTA Engineers to identify Product and Service feedback.

Analyze data and create insights to drive reporting requirements. This includes implementation of new data points and tooling/process updates.

Provide regular communication updates via newsletters, business reviews, internal staff meetings with broader FTA community and Leadership team.

QualificationsSuccessful Candidate Competencies:Real day-to-day external customer-facing experience and empathy.

Keen ability to communicate ideas effectively with executives and engineering teams.

Assembling, leading and working within strong cross-functional groups and matrixed team environments.

Demonstrated skills and abilities to consistently create an amazingly positive experience for customers.

Track record of problem-solving ranging from conceptualization to implementation.

Ability to juggle and manage several priorities and drive clarity for FTA engineers.

Possess a broad knowledge and understanding of one or more cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure.

Experience managing large scale cloud migrations.

Real-world smart, logical, and able to learn new areas quickly.

Basic Qualifications:5+ years of direct customer facing experience, conversant with senior IT professionals, backed by a deep understanding of their solution needs.

2+ years Microsoft Azure and / or VMWare experience.

Fluent in English – reading, writing, and speaking with a proficiency in technical cloud concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:Proven ability to lead, manage, build and deliver customer business results through an engineering or professional services team.

Problem-solving and leadership in leveraging internal and/or external resources, where and when needed, to do what’s right for the customer and for the organization.

Understanding of architectural and cloud design principles, including Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

Program Management, Project Management or Delivery Management experience.

Located in US or Canada.

Fluency in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.
