As a
Software Engineer, you will use cutting edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing- Work as part of an evolving DevOps-focused enviornment with infrastructure engineering, operations, product development and CI/CD teams. Technologies include strict alignment with secure platform standards and practices in support of on-premises and/or cloud-based virtualized appplication servers on Windows Server & Linux, tooling such as Octopus Deploy & Azure DevOps, agile practices, and emergeing technologies such as infrastructure/configuration-as-code & containerization capabilities.
- This a hands-on position that will work side by side with other team members throughout the Infrastructure and Cloud Product and Service Organization. As a member of a cross functional team, the Systems Engineeer will be flexible, participate in mutual understanding, and continuously evaluate processes.
- Setup/Troubleshooting IIS
- Supporting .NET Applications
- Windows Server Administration / Scripting via PowerShell
- Understanding of DevOps Concepts and a Solution Based Mindset
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Architecture and Administration
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and restoring large-scale distributed systems
- Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages such as Bash, Perl, Powershell, Ruby, and Python
- Must have knowledge of Web Servers, preferably IIS
- Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery procesdures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, contect deluvery, and caching
- Knowledge of Git or other version control technologies
- Experience with Cloud Based Techologies, preferably Azure
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, and experience with IP based networks, including of data networking componenets and concepts.
