RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Reston, VA.
Key Tasks: Technical Project Manager will work collaboratively with development, operations, vendors, and security teams to identify, define, and resolve fixes, and enhancements for existing telecommunication systems Identify and communicate project risks and issues Drive identification of requirements and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data and communication with customers As a Technical Project Manager, you will perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development Create and maintain project schedules Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and other project life cycle documentation, including gate review materials and artifacts, design documentation, user and administration manuals, configuration management plans, configuration change control board packages, security plans and documentation, among others Technical Project Managers create informative, engaging presentations for management as requiredREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Project management certification (PMP) Minimum three years of specialized experience working with a telecommunication systems Basic Understanding of voice technologies like PRI/SIP trunks, call routes, etc. Basic understanding of SQL and SQL Server management including failover clusters Proven project management expert with ability to utilize effective project management skills and tools to effectively communicate all facets of a project with stakeholders at all levels Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
