Cloud Technical Strategist, you will use your AKS expertise to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the architecture and technical details of AKS cloud framework.
  • Oversee the execution of AKS implementation for an Azure cloud platform.
  • Educate and influence stakeholders and engineering teams on effective AKS cloud solutions and best practices
  • Be an Azure AKS evangelist with our customers
  • Understand customers' overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding
  • Define innovative solutions using concepts such as infrastructure-as-code, deployment orchestration, and automation templates

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.

Profile of Success

  • Hands-on experience of AKS beyond lab or training. Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Container Instances, Container Registry and microservices
  • Must have deep knowledge n CD Pipelines including both Azure DevOps and open-source technologies for Modern Engineering (DevOps) DevOps Linux Terraform Ansible lead cloud-focused software engineering efforts requiring CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation efforts via Azure DevOps and Terraform for our clients
  • Expected to have a thorough understanding of various technologies and will be very hands on with the solutions being delivered.
  • 8+ years of experience in Azure PaaS and IaaS
  • Update and design of Azure services and resources into existing cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with internal technical SMEs, internal stake holders and clients
  • Research and implement environmental changes
  • Assist with technical issues, escalations, and resolution
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud security, Terraforms and Visual Studio
  • Must have experience in a client-facing environment and interacting with technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience with Azure Policy, Docker, Helm
  • Experience with Kubernetes K8S, Azure Load Balancers / Application Gateways
  • Experience with Linux administration
  • Experience with Chef, Jenkins, or Puppet
  • Experience on Object oriented programming
  • Desire to mentor and train internal technical teams
