As a

Project Manager, you will use a combination of technical capabilities, a consultancy mindset, and Agile process methodologies to manage projects and deliver solutions to the client. Project Managers are responsible for managing projects in ways that model delivery excellence by meeting contractual obligations, managing risk, promoting client satisfaction, realizing profitability targets, and complying with AIS project management standards and processes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build positive relationships with delivery teams, clients, and employees and mentor project team members as needed to deliver successfully and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Successfully execute project plans, track deliverables, and document client acceptance of deliverables for multiple projects following AIS' Project Management approach
  • Ability to overcome challenges, forging relationships with customers, and meeting customer expectations
  • Understand technology-related issues and how they might impact delivery and have experience delivering technology projects
  • Experience with adhering to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Maintain situational awareness of day-to-day project activities, serving as the first escalation point for the client, and keep account teams and other AIS members informed as needed to support a coordinated response in serving the client
  • Provide management and guidance to ensure delivery teams meet all contractual obligations (scope, requirements, SLAs) and meet deadlines and budgets
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and report on risks to delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction
  • Build credibility through effective communication and problem-solving
  • Support related bid and proposal activity and ensure all contract and performance documentation is current

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

Profile of Success

  • Minimum of three years of project management experience and ability to demonstrate success in the following:
    • Estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and resolving risks and issues
    • Clarifying requirements and expectations across multiple stakeholders
    • Supporting and growing the capabilities of project team members
  • Experience delivering software, data, infrastructure and/or cloud technology projects
  • Working knowledge of Agile software methodologies

Desirable Skills

  • Project Management Certification
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
  • Previous hands-on technical experience is a plus
