ALTA IT Services is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to join our direct client on a contract to hire basis. Candidates must have source to target mapping experience, and a healthcare background. This is a hybrid role. Sr. Data Analyst Temp to perm Hybrid in Reston, VA Minimum 8 Years of Experience as a data analyst in Data Warehouse/Data Lake projects preferably in health care domain Must have skills: • Strong demonstrated analytical skills applied to business software solutions maintenance and/or development. • Strong knowledge of SQL to write complex queries to extract and analyze the data • Very good understanding of database fundamentals, tables, indexes • Adept at reading data models, data dictionary and figuring out various data points and how they are related to each other • Working knowledge of health care data exchange standards such as HL7/FHIR • Data analysis using advanced Excel skills and BI tools • Experience documenting Source to Target mappings and similar documents to provide data lineage and data transformation logic • Strong process analysis & documentation skills • Excellent communication/writing skills, interpersonal skills • Attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Skills • Understanding of claims adjudication process, particularly in a health care environment • Experience with HL7 • Experience in a Data Warehouse/Data Lake development environment in a data analytical role • Bachelors (Health administration; business administration; software engineering or related degree required) Responsibilities • Collaborate with business/IT stakeholders to review and document business and technical requirements • Conduct thorough analysis of various data requirements to identify and document data sources, data transformation rules • Write SQL queries to perform data analysis and to support ETL development • Working in a scrum team, attend daily standups and other agile ceremonies and actively partner with developers and testers • Provide testing support as required to ensure data integrity and data qualityVacancy expired!
