Job Description:The Government Health and Safety Solutions has an opening for a junior functional analyst to support a large healthcare contract.Job Duties:Performs functional and business requirements analysis and IT applications analysis. Assists project manager/lead with developing governance materials for large software projects. Develops test plans and test cases and executes the test cases. Participates in peer reviews. Responsible for ensuring appropriate Change Management processes/procedures and documentation are followed. Updates change management system (Jira) as requested. Applicant will work under lead direction. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment. Candidate must be familiar with Agile Software Development methodologies.Basic Qualifications:Excellent oral and written communication skills, teamwork, and a strong commitment to client service. Requirements analysis and application analysis and design skills. Experience with developing use cases and data requirements analysis and presenting workflows of systems to user groups. Experience in the development of test cases and test execution.Desired skills:Knowledge with 508 compliancy. Knowledge with developing mock-up pages, preferably using Adobe Dreamweaver. Knowledge or experience with Software Engineering (IEEE) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) standards. Knowledge or experience with Full Development Life-Cycle (FDLC) methodologies. Familiar with SQL tools.Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
