Job Description - QA Analyst
We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. This individual should be able to communicate effectively with the development team, requirement team and business units to write, execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements. Job duties and responsibilities:- Work collaboratively within high performance multi-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure overall software quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, based on product requirements.
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports for an online web application based on business requirements.
- Implement and maintain automated tests triggering through the current continuous integration/continuous delivery tool to provide confidence in quality of delivery for all code deployments.
- Work with functional teams to analyze and identify automation test cases, identify test data requirement for automation.
- Participate in both the current state and future state of test planning and execution, including, but not limited to, functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with SCRUM teams to incorporate the effective creation of test cases and plans in each sprint cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 4+ years of Software Testing and Automation Testing
- Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
- Experience working with tools such as Confluence and test management tools such as Adaptivist
- Hands on experience using automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Test Complete or automation tools
- Hands on experience using Postman/RestAssured or similar tools to test Services (Web API/Json/REST)
- Hands on experience working with Continuous Integrations tools like Jenkins/GitHubActions/Azure Dev-Ops and Cloud Infrastructure AWS/Azure
- Excellent communication skills. Must be attentive to detail, highly-organized, and able to multi-task
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment.
- Experience in the health care domain is a plus
