A cutting-edge data analytics startup in Washington, DC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. In this very hands-on position you will play a major role in designing the application, coding, client-side coding, server-side scripting, building and managing databases. Additionally, for anyone who is passionate about working with large sets of data, you will have the opportunity to also build data pipelines from ingesting third-party data sources and build API's for receiving data from internal applications to ensure the success of the separate but closely aligned internal analytics teams across the globe!
Required Skills & Experience- 4 + years' experience with Node or Golang
- Experience working with React, Redux preferred
- Experience with NOSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB)
- Ability to develop cluster container environment in AWS using Docker, Kubernetes
- Manage several microservices written in Golang, Node
- Ability to analyze and develop database architecture and design documentation
- BS in CS or related field preferred
- 100% full stack software engineering/architecture
- 50% web application engineering
- 50% design/architecture
