- Review, parse, and analyze RFIs, RFPs, BAAs, and Task Order requirements to organize a compliant response
- Work with all levels of MPC to develop and prepare high-quality, compliant and compelling proposals.
- Develop and maintain proposal schedules, driving the proposal team in adherence to the schedule
- Coordinate proposal phases, activities, and milestones - including, but not limited to the proposal kickoff meetings, teammate meetings, data calls, readiness assessments, brainstorming sessions, informal proposal reviews, wall walks, and collaborative writing sessions
- Oversee development of high quality, high impact artwork and graphics for proposals
- Lead proposal color reviews to include scheduling, organizing, facilitating, inviting, review preparation and conduct, and supporting comment summation, adjudication, and final inclusion. Ensure that capture team's strategy, themes, solution, and discriminators are reflected in the proposal
- Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, proposal schedules, and provide direction to leadership and cross-functional teams assigned to work proposal efforts
- Work collaboratively across the company; gain broad awareness of MPC capabilities, past performance, and discriminators and, where relevant, recommend insertion into proposals
- Develop and maintain all templates, tools, and SOPs for managing a proposal at MetaPhase. This includes proposal kickoff deck, proposal template, Color Team Review materials, Past Performance Templates, Resume Templates, reusable language (intro text), etc.
- Maintain the intellectual capital of the firm - making it easily available for maximum use and efficiency
- Lead proposal teams in post-submittal activities such as properly storing final materials, extracting reusable sections for future proposals, capturing and responding to lessons learned, etc.
- Coordinate with MPC leadership and the social media/marketing team to create public-facing collateral targeted at key markets
- Train team members (or create/maintain training materials) on various elements of a proposal response including technical approach, management approach, Past Performance, Staffing/Resumes, Compliance, etc
- 5 years of direct experience in federal proposal development as a technical writer, coordinator, or manager
- The ability to conceptualize and create graphics with experience in graphic design software a major plus
- Strong organizational, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Bachelor’s degree - preferably in a technical field, business, and/or in Project Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficiency in the G Suite
- BD/Proposal Training, Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Foundation Certification, Shipley, and/or PMP Certifications
- Experience in graphic design
- Experience pursuing large Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACS)
